Cantilever racking hall – stable racking solution with roof and wall
In this type of halls, the vertical supports of the cantilever racks are cut at an angle at the top, depending on the shape of the roof, and fitted with panels or purlin brackets. The roof structure for the cantilever rack hall will then be built on top of this. For the wall cladding, trapezoidal sheets or ISO noise protection panels or weather protection systems can be attached to the rear of the rack.
Rack-clad warehouse – robust storage solution
The supports of the cantilever racking are made from hot-rolled IPE steel profiles. They have high load capacities and are very elastic. Depending on the requirements and use of the hall, the supports of the racks are prepared accordingly for the roof support. As a rule, the rack-clad warehouses are manufactured with a pitched or gable roof. The punched back of the supports also serves to hold the wall cladding. On request, the roof covering including drainage can also be carried out by OHRA. This means you receive your cantilever rack hall from a single source.

Gaigher + Penn
Gaigher + Penn, a specialist dealer in building materials for roofs and façades, has replaced the previously used, partly welded sheet metal racks with five 18-metre-long cantilever racks from OHRA. Made of hot-rolled, solid walled steel profiles, the racks offer both more load-bearing capacity and an increase in storage capacity, as well as significantly more safety for the employees. In addition, the integrated roof construction protects the goods from the weather. This means that the company can now flexibly stock an even larger range of products for its customers in the same space.
Adamet
The metal wholesaler Adamet-Niemet replaced the previous storage concept of floor storage and low height racks to storage in cantilever racks from OHRA that are up to 8,570 millimetres high. The load capacity of the cantilever arms is 500 or 600 kilograms, up to 16 storage levels are possible with a rack height of 8,570 millimetres. This not only increased the storage capacity, but also accelerated the storage and retrieval processes and increased the efficiency of production. The flexible, height-adjustable cantilever arms of the OHRA racks also deflect upwards and sideways in the event of impacts. This protects the goods from damage.
4PLUS Bouwmaterialen B.V.
4PLUS Bouwmaterialen B.V., a purchasing organisation for building materials, has more than doubled the capacity of its central warehouse in Born, in the Netherlands, by installing OHRA cantilever racks.
Thyssen
A 17-year-old mobile racking system from thyssenkrupp Materials Hungary was brought back up to the current state of the art through retrofitting. OHRA replaced worn mechanical parts and modernised the entire electrical engineering. The modernisation ensures that the plant can continue to operate with a high level of availability. The control concept and safety system are now state of the art again - so the modernised plant meets the same requirements as a new one, but required only the fraction of the investment.
Arabesque
Arabesque, the largest distributor of building materials and finishing products in Romania, has significantly expanded its storage capacity: OHRA's new cantilever racks reach a total length of over 250 metres at a height of up to 5,280 millimetres. The new racking system requires far less space than the previous floor storage system, so Arabesque now again has sufficient capacity to expand and enlarge its product range. This means that customer requirements can continue to be met reliably in the future.
